IMPORTANT - This is a jam game, that means it was made in a few days for a game jam and might not have the content or balance you would expect from a full release :)

Explore the anomaly.  Collect supplies. You're mostly alone...mostly.

(Bump cabinets to look for supplies, bump terminals to view what's on the screen)

Note: The faces on the wall are all from https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/ and not actual people. I was going to replace it with my own procgen art, but I ran out of time. All sounds and pbr textures I've used here are cc0 afaik.

Performance will be better with the windows binary, but the web one seems to work.

Controls

  • Arrow Keys - Move/Bump to attack or use/navigate inventory
  • I - Inventory
  • Enter - Use item in inventory
  • F - Flashlight
  • esc - Exit inventory or Terminal

This is the first thing that came to my mind when I was thinking about a game based on the modern backrooms

It would be cool if you could also move to the sides without turning the camera, like in some other DRPGs.

I think you could develop this into something really good. As it is though, the difficulty is pretty much nonexistent. I found plenty of items but in my two runs I never had to use a single one, in fact I wasn't ever damaged.
